Stevenage Arts & Heritage Trail
Allen Scott were engaged by wayfinding and furniture specialist Landmark to provide strategic design direction and masterplanning for a new Arts and Heritage Trail in Stevenage.
As part of celebrating the town’s arts, culture, and heritage, the Stevenage Heart Trails will span 27 miles of traffic-free routes, inviting the community and visitors to explore hidden art and heritage across the town.
A series of signposted trails, accessible by walking and wheeling, will be installed throughout 2025. Supported by the Stevenage Development Board through the Towns Fund, the project aims to foster a stronger appreciation of arts, culture, and heritage within Stevenage.
Alongside extensive site and desktop analysis, Allen Scott prepared the overarching spatial masterplan, identifying opportunities for public realm enhancements and cultural connections across the town.
