Landscape Planning

FORMAL & INFORMAL LANDSCAPE AND VISUAL ASSESSMENTS, PHOTOMONTAGE, TOWNSCAPE ANALYSIS, PRELIMINARY LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT AND FEASIBILITY PRIOR TO DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL, EXPERT WITNESS AT PUBLIC INQUIRY

In preparing Landscape and Visual Assessment, Appraisals, Character and Capacity Studies we act in the best interests of our client, helping to balance commercial imperatives with built-in environmental measures, following ethical standards and a Code of Conduct as chartered members of the Landscape Institute.

The NPPF states the purpose of planning is to help achieve sustainable development, not development at any cost and to this end it contains strong safeguards to conserve and enhance valuable natural and historic environments. A relatively quick assessment and review of a site and initial proposals can identify safeguarding early and avoid costly planning mistakes.

A landscape parameter plan shows those parts of the site most able to accept development and any parts which are more sensitive and require specific design approaches. There will be impacts but being honest, clear and innovative we present the ability to protect, conserve and enhance landscape and visual amenity to everyone’s benefit.
