URBAN DESIGN - PEDESTRIAN SPACES - PUBLIC STREETS AND SQUARES

Urban and public realm design play a major role in shaping the built environment and resolving the complex issues that our towns and cities face in light of fluctuating economic conditions, the challenges high streets face and our increasingly urban lifestyles.

We have established a broad level of experience across a range of urban master planning and high-quality public realm schemes. We aim to create places that respond to their contexts and are vibrant, healthy and long-lasting. We work collaboratively as lead or within a multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, transport planners, designers, artists and other specialists. These collaborations push our thinking, complement our experience and provide technical expertise.

This process of learning has led to a deeper knowledge and confidence in delivering people-orientated spaces that deal with the multiplicity of issues that contribute to 21st century life in towns and cities.  This is founded on taking a placemaking approach to the design and engagement process to enable ‘people orientated’ places.
