Mid Sussex Parks
Allen Scott have been working with Mid Sussex District Council on engagement-led masterplanning for their parks portfolio across the district. The process involves extensive stakeholder engagement, most of which has happened during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tailored masterplanning process includes drawing out common themes and aspirations from the community, site investigations, council officer workshops, outline budget cost plans and preparing publicised material, such as questions and plans for engagement and consultation.
Three parks have begun construction as of autumn 2025, with the results of the initial engagement stage underpinning the resulting concepts.
