Land at Marden
Allen Scott were initially engaged by B.Yond Homes (previous Rydon Homes) from the early stages of planning and design to provide landscape advice in relation to putting the land forward to be allocated for housing within the draft Local Plan.
Working closely with the development team a Landscape Framework, a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) and Outline Landscape and Ecological Management Plan (OLEMP) were prepared to accompany an outline planning application for the proposed development of 117 new homes on sloping ground at the edge of the rural settlement of Marden, Kent.
Expert witness services were require for a Public Inquiry, which resulted in permission being granted, during which we engaged and worked closely in partnership with specialist company, Realm, to prepare verified views and photomontages as part of our Proof of Evidence.
